Experience in leadership roles, preferably within non-profit organizations or arts-related fields.
Ability to contribute to fundraising efforts and secure resources for TAC's programs.
Willingness to attend bi-monthly board meetings and participate in committee work.
Active involvement in the local community and a network of contacts that can benefit TAC.
Ability to contribute to the strategic direction and long-term planning of the organization.
Understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes.
Commitment to participate in board retreats held in the Spring and Fall.
Mona Allen is a second year board member. She has a high school diploma and attended Southwest Community College. Her talents include leadership, acting and writing. Her goal while being a part of the TAC board is to support others to fulfill their potential and make them recognize their own abilities. She is a creative writer and is hoping to help grow from learning on the TAC board. Her favorite quote speaks to her ability to do things her own way; “I don’t climb mountains, I build them.”
Anna is serving her first year as a board member at TAC. She has a passion for working with children/ stars. She is am a team player and willing to go the extra mile to help stars succeed. She brings a wealth of knowledge in fundraising, mentoring, and event design. Her favorite quote is, “God will go undercover for you."
Tracy is a first year board member. She joined TAC to give back to the organization that cultivated her child’s love of dance. She brings business and financial knowledge to TAC. Her goal is to help TAC to grow and live up to its mission and vision statement. She lives by the moto, “You only live once, but you do it right, once is enough.”
